No experience with video? No problem!  We’re not looking for professional actors or supermodels. We’ve created this handy three step guide to help you create the perfect video testimonial. Do it right from your smartphone - easy peasy.

Pick the Right Lighting & Background

Lighting: You can use your bathroom or kitchen, whichever lighting you prefer. Keep in mind that shaded light from a window is very flattering. It’s also better to face a window than have it right behind you.

Background: Plain walls work, but don’t worry about elements of your home in the background - remember, these testimonials should be authentic! :)

Record Clear Audio

Noise: Find a quiet spot, away from the extra noise of pets, air conditioning, the TV... Turn off fans and shut the door if other family members are home. Keep your phone close to you so it picks up your audio loud and clear.

Don’t Stop Filming

One take is all you need. Don’t worry if you mess up a word or jumble a sentence here or there, just keep going! And don't worry about captions or overlays or ANYTHING. Our video editors will take care of the rest.
